Engagement, roka & sagai
Ring ceremonies, roka and save the dates — the first ritual of forever.
Guests lift the lid of a velvet ring box and the diamond catches the light. A proposal story with a “She said yes” stamp, a jeweller's Certificate of Forever and a champagne-gold evening by the sea.
Guests set the shagun thali — roli, chawal, mithai, nariyal and a diya — to open the invitation. Marigold torans, a Rishta Pakka seal, the meaning of every shagun and a mooh-meetha mithai poll.
Guests rub a polaroid until the couple's photo develops. Washi tape, marker handwriting, the love story as snaps, sticky notes for the details and an advice board guests pin their own notes to.
Guests tap a peony bud until it blooms, petal by petal. Blush and sage watercolours, an oval portrait, a “How well do you know us?” quiz with a score, and the evening hour by hour.
Guests slide gilded Art Deco doors apart as a gold sunburst lights up behind them. A stepped gilt portrait, the order of the night, signature pours named after the couple and a black-tie dress code with swatches.
